I'm the same @Trewsers , buying clothes online I have to convert to inches, horses are always in hands, and distances are miles. Temperatures are centigrade though and I have no preference between pints and litres. No logic to it at all
But you are younger than me and I was taught in cms and metres?! But I have to admit, I can "imagine" an inch much easier than cm's. In fact, I buy tops based on inches rather than cm's. Weird isn't it.

And for some reason some places will tell you the distance in kilometres.
A pint is less than a litre isn't it, no idea the cider comes in a pint glass
