I need to do something with her and I am stuck just doing the jobs and looking after all the field. With a buddy, it's now the whole three and half acres that will need to be kept under control.

So the idea is on the same lines as what @Jessey thought of all those years ago. There was a weekly challenge and we posted photos.
I can't find that thread so no idea on the year.

But starting from tomorrow the Sunday Surprise will be

Put your hoof on ............
And for those without access to a horse put your foot on ...........
For ideas it can be tarp, plastic lid, rubber mat, carpet, rug, cardboard, towel, white line,
Or get inventive it's that's too boring.

Join in or you will have to put up with the threads popping up 😂

Ideas welcome for the following Sunday Surprise.

Can I join in after Christmas? As usual I am so overwhelmed with stuff I have to do that AJ has temporarily joined Raf in retirement. They don't even have rugs on today so their agenda is to transfer as much mud from the field onto themselves as possible. No time for foot stuff, unless you count using them to continue the excavation works they've started in the middle of the field.

Yes join in whenever you can or feel like it, the idea is just to give us something to do
I am struggling a bit at the moment (personal life) and I need a distraction and focus beyond the basic care and maintaining the field.

Yaye, I will try and join in - wind permitting! Hahahaa. Last time I had a play around with Zi and tarps etc, I carefully set them up only for a ruddy great wind to come and wreck it all lol
Its nice to have a goal - even if its a daft one - and this is a good thread thank you @newforest

Better late than never! 😜
Jess of course rocked doing this, a bright red towel, straight on

A smaller target of a tub lid, sure!
IMG_2833.jpeg
Even a step up onto a brick, although slightly perplexed as to why I was asking her, she stepped up
IMG_2839.jpeg

Monkey had to check everything first
IMG_2831.jpeg
And he then picked the towel up and threw it at me 🤣 but stepped on when asked.

He wasn’t worried about the tub lid after checking it out
IMG_2834.jpegIMG_2836.jpeg
But the brick was tough, he wasn’t worried by it but would step back and forth over it, so I made it bigger by adding a second brick, after 5 minutes he got it, and got a carrot reward but stepped off before I could get a picture. It was obviously a complete fluke because I spent another 10 minutes trying again for a picture but this is a close as we got!!

This is good, it gives me a little project to work on to while away the dark evenings 👍

Lovely photos and thanks for joining in.
Mine would likely pick up the towel as well she's so nosey the hoof would probably scrunch it up and then the nose gets involved 😂

I did a quick saddle for put on. I have just bought another pad to go underneath c but this will be fine for the odd times I actually jump on and ride.
Can't complain the saddle was only £50 and even though it's not made anymore it's never been ridden in.

The full size last week were too small, full this week in a different brand are huge 🤣🤣
Typical I wish they actually had a standard sizing thing.
I guess that's just how things go for any product you buy I suppose even for us.
I know if she had to have a rug that the Rhino is a really good fit, then the Amigo / Rambo.
She looks like a baby Rhino at times so that suit her.

I wore something unusual yesterday on my hack - my Christmas Cuddlr trousers.

There's a reason these aren't meant for riding. They are lovely and warm and cosy, but the seams are very unforgiving. Now finding it quite uncomfortable to pee.
