Hi Tracey - thought about you yesterday - time passes so quickly , time is a healer but those days stay with you - hugs all round.

we are on lammi watch now - first big frost last night and the boys had to stay out due to the bonfire paty next to the yard - they were not impressed - will be fetching them back up today- bloody:cold: here!

Hi Lin poor horses hate fireworks are yard lights and stable lights stayed on till all fireworks ended so they all didnt see the flashers , it's gone so cold now we got snow on mountains :stomp: there all out and rugged but the ground is mud hows acorn coping with the cold ?

Hes okay so long as its not damp,wet & windy - but I have a no fill rug that goes on in those conditions and that seems to keep on top - but as you know can't afford for him to get muscle problems, if he ties up thats when we get the lammi threat, also need to keep him moving so will manage him the same this year - in on a night when needs be and out during the day - Charlie seems to need similar management - what a couple of wussy natives i have - have just taken tghem back up to the yard - he came in at a brisk trot ears forward kenn to come back up - hes out in his paddock next to Charlie with hay - no grass left in it now but tjey are happy enough.
Hows Llyw gatting on with his sight disability - has he a lead buddy? have you done much with him? how old is he now - will you back him?

hope everybodys well, & hooves, llwys doing well but this weather is so bad, mud mud and more mud :furious: heading for a bad weather i think!!

Hi Tracy - great to hear from you and that all is well your end - other than the Mud - not on your own, however the boys have been iced in at the yard for over a week, been able to walk them carefully up the grass and back for 10 minutes morning and night and hired next doors menage for 1/2 hour the other morning so Charlie could have a flash around to get rid of some energy - we had Snow yesterday which is great news for us, the top paddock is covered in it so the boys are out today, they were well pleased!
The girls up on the Hill, had 2 grey/whites this morning in place of Chestnut and piebald - they were glad to see their buckets and some hay.
:cold:though - I am not a winter person.

we have a cold dry spell at moment so making the most of it to get them out and about befor iced in again. roll on spring.

Great to hear from you and that Llyw is doing well, looking forward to the pics- 4 eh where does the time go - what are you doing with him now?

How are you doing - keeping good fettle I hope.

Ours are all fine, the little man is doing great - Farrier has said it good we don't have to worry about his feet anymore - music to my ears:dance:, he is really enjoying work now and loves going out on the Long reins or with Emma on hacks, we are showing at the weekend and it looks as though the weather is going to be okay:dance:

looking forward to the pics, I am off next couple of days so going to get some photos - I was hoping to take monthly photos so I can see changes but failed as per!

Looks like spring is finally here- we are just starting to get Grass and a green hue on the hawthorne - all we need now is warmth and Sun - some sort of summer which seemed to pass us by last year.
