Two years ago almost to the day.

Edited to add the same tree, the one on the left was just a dead looking twig back then 😂

I am waiting for Robins peptizole to arrive. I paid extra for fed ex to do next day signing for delivery. I thought I would get a closer idea than the “arriving by 6pm” and sk missed the delivery yesterday by 5 mins. Rearranged for today. Not arrived yet. Still “arriving by 6pm”. I need to get robin in shortly. I am sure they will arrive the second I leave. I have asked on the chat if anyone could bring him in and no reply. Aarrgghh

We are currently in the middle of the nightmare that is trying to find care and care home funding for Mr KRs mum.
I’m totally stressed and strung out by it all quite honestly. I can only be thankful that I’ve got my beautiful Belle to hug everyday.

I'm quite cross today. My internet is slow. My insurance company are mugging me about again (same every year when it's up for renewal) the whole thing is like pulling teeth. All I want to do is pay them. Started trying to sort it almost 3 weeks ago. Still not sorted. I feel like I am a pest. It is too much trouble to go elsewhere and they know it! Rant over. It's raining and cold here. I have a cat full of cold hungry kitties. I have a miserable warmblood refusing to leave his stable and an even misererabler old connie who thinks she should be out eating grass even though it's sopping wet and she's safer with her gammy leg on the yard. Okay is that enough grumbling from me or what?! Lol sorry guys. On a happier note: I have two mini bakewell tarts to go with my cup of afternoon tea. But that's not until 4pm. And, it's sausages and chips for dinner. Hahahhahaaa.

Oh happy first of December too! The holy / silly / festive season is upon us! Yaye. Getting the trimmings out shortly. Expect another rant as about ten boxes will no doubt come crashing down on my head when I being the underneath the stairs search for them.....................😂🤣🙃

Cold and extra thick fog here. Hasnt lifted all day.
Cant believe the idiots driving round without lights. Went to pull out the end of the road this morning, suddenly see car coming out the thick fog. Driving home just now one van man sitting on my tail. If id had to break suddenly hed have hit me.
Touching wood tooth ache is easing.

I think the cob had November down as "Not staying in the paddock you left me in" month.
Yesterday afternoon next door was out with the tractor doing all the hedges on his side. So left a paddock with no grass on open so she had somewhere to run if need be. She hates this side of the field and I want to gradually try and have it as summer grazing when the bushes are nice and green and it feels secure.
Now she can see people on the zip wires and I don't think she's impressed!

I often wonder now why things seem to be so difficult when we’ve been told for years that technology is the way forward, with all the modern tech that is supposed to facilitate an easier life all I keep thinking is how much quicker things got done before we had it.
Bakewell tarts are my favourites, I hope you thoroughly enjoyed them. 😊

I love technology, it was great imo, the clue there being was.
We've now gone so far into relying on it that the world can't function.
I am avoiding anything accept the essentials, it takes up your time, it doesn't free your time.

Wash days were a Monday. Then along comes the twin tub, then along comes the washing machine. Did that give you more time, no, because you are spending your time working to buy it in the first place. 🤔

The same day, next day delivery just makes us impatient, and you actually have to pay over the odds for it, probably because you are at work.

What is this sun you speak of. It is still thick fog here. We had a frost last night, so it was actually white, but is started to thaw quickly. There is so much moisture in the fog things are dripping. Had to actually run the cars to defrost the windscreens.
Cattle and horse drinker water was frozen, going out in a minute to see if its thawed during the day. If not i shall have to move them to a paddock that has a trough in it. Downside to my new drinker and having surface water pipes.

Yep December so definitely winter now. We are actually showing potential for snow next weekend. 17mm, it will probably change yet. But minus temps leading up to it also for next week.
