Not happy

Kirsty - have a word with the YO (making sure you have your facts right) and keep your stuff locked away.

This used to happen so much on our yard. I keep everything locked away in my tack locker now.

Amazingly I went on holiday and left one numnah out of my locker so that it could dry off as Twig had sweated a lot during our ride. It went missing from my stable and I found it a few days ago looking very mucky and attached to a saddle  great huh?

I get more annoyed about people using my stable at the moment. I don't care really as if I'm not there it's empty but I'd like them to clean it afterwards!! I cleaned a whole barrowload of poo out of it yesterday and none of it is Twig's!! Fuming

'borrowing'

I totally agree..I never mind anyone borrowing something..aslong as its returned!! Theres nothing worse than turning up at the yard and your stuffs been moved..( usually when your in a rush) then you have to use someone elses and I hate doing that always worried I will break something!

At my old yard we all had new sheds after lots of moaning which we shared between two of us which was great! we shared a key for it and always new where our stuff once!.. I always feel like I was hoarding things but its just the minority that sadly we had to take action to.

Its simply just a case of respecting other peoples gear

I have now spent my time pruning this thread instead of looking and reading threads

Could we PLEASE REFRAIN from back biting and bitching

Anymore and the poster will be suspended

I hate it when people steal my stuff. Why can't just spend the money and get their own stuff? You'd think they'd understand...

Thanks Miriam it did look messy!

Just thought i'd say me and dad spoke to the YO this morning and he said he's going to see if he can find out who it is for me, which is very kind of him, meanwhile, while i get a box, i took everything out nothing but feed and taking my wheel barrow and stable equipment as well! That's until i get a lockable box with a padlock! :)

Its a real pain when people take liberties isn't it? :(

I made the mistake of telling people, when I moved into the yard a year ago, that they were welcome to borrow my equipment - just asked them to return stuff to where it came from.

A year on and I've lost so much stuff I've made it known that I don't want anyone to borrow things - which is a shame, I don't like being like that. I've had my wheelbarrow broken (an expensive one) my shovel broken. I regularly loose grooming items/bottles of conditioner/fly spray. I've been taken for a soft touch with a limitless purse!!!

Now I have to lock things away.
