My 3 day party By ginger one aged 6 (pics)

Ginger One - or probably should be 'O' Great Ginger One' now, you definitely have a future as a writer (when you hang up your eventing gear of course!) :D:D

And congratulations also to your Dad who must be beaming from ear to ear. What a fantastic result!

Well done to both of you!

Lovely story-really enjoyed it:D

Any more pics? Your horse is gorgeous!

Well done, Ginger One and David! Love your updates, especially when they are straight from the horse's mouth (and hoof!)

Oh, and I lurve your leafy jods in the seond pic, DH!! ;)

Lovely report - but blimey you both look soaked in the XC pictures -ginger has turned bay!

Awww bless him what a sweetheart :)

Sounds like he did incredibly well for his first time :)

what an amazing result - you must be totally thrilled - and what prospects for the future.

and he enjoyed it all which is the main thing.

well done.

(has this cured you of lingering dressage diva-yness?).
Nope, its made it worse. he should have scored in the 70's but I elected not to put studs in for dressage as ground was so hard and I didn't want to put the strain on his joints. As a result he slipped a lot and lost confidence.
He will be doing BD soon (15th June) as I want to qualify him for pet plan finals and possibly BD regionals.

Thank you all for the wonderful replies.
I will admit to feeling more than a little emotional about it this morning.
I can not believe how well he ran for me in horrendous conditions.
A true star. His owner is still in shock as well.
