Morning all!
Well if nots a poorly Bobs we have a poorly Tracy...Hope you are feeling a lot better this week...x Nice that Bobs bottom is nice and clean againand hoping he's had a good week, the grass is shooting through now isn't it?
Linda, you just seem to be so busy all of the time, not sure how you fit it all in! How is Acorn with the new grass after the rain this week???
LOved your photos Nani - my thats one chunky monkey you have there!!! Did you have a good time at Badminton??? I spent too much as usual!!
Well, guys, my 'Vicky' battle continues (thanks for replying to my other thread Linda!!) We are getting improvements but its going to be a long job. She has so many good points and just this ONE BIG ONE involving her brakes!!! hey ho, had her teeth and back done yesterday so we'll see. Good job I've still got Will as at least Decs can hop on him and canter and jump in the school!!
Anyway ladies, my only big news is that i've got a job!!!! I'm going to work for 'Gatehouse' the people who make the FS1 riding hats that are so very popular at the moment!!! It's part time, allowing me to fit in ponies, kids and mum, and its based only 10 mins from where I live in a beautiful country house, its where Mark Todd is based!!! So looking forward to that!
I'll pop back in later (as I still do everyday!) take care x
Congrats on the Job Debbie, well done! Look forward to continuing reports on Vicky, I think you will get there its just getting to the issue she has with School and then working on it - my feeling it's something to do with the School area and working it that is the trigger might be wrong thats why I wondered if she worked ok in a sectioned area in the field, eg not hemmed in by fences or having a different working surface - she may just have had an experience in the School that makes her feel she has to behave the way she does but I am sure you will get there but I can understand the fustration as she sounds perfect otherwise.
Acorns still up in his paddock, started the roadwork with him again and so far so good, hopefully he will go up to the field for 1/2 day turnout tomorrow we will bring him back down in the trailer as we have to go up and down with it to bring the muck away, there is always a job! the hole in his foot is closing, still packing it but feet are looking good, suspect he had a knock or pulled something in the fight they had last weeked, no obvious heat or swelling but the bute and rest seem to be doing the trick - this weekend will be the test I suppose, he can always stay up in his little paddock next week if its too much still for him, otherwise hes full of it and back to his normal self!
Do hope Tracey and Bobs are well, will look back in later for any updates,
meanwhile keep going Debbie you'll get there.......
Lx
