I do feel for you Frances. There are warning signs in our area. I just bought a new pair of summer dungarees to protect my legs from ticks when walking. But it never occured to me that ticks left the wilderness and entered one's bedroom. We plug in insect killers when in hotels away from UK but not usually here.
