Third time lucky?

Yay!!!!!!!!! How exciting - she may even come tomorrow??

It'd be nice, but not do-able unfortunately :(

Lots of hard work ahead for me too - Kels only had about ten days in so I hadn't really got into a routine, so I'll be hobbling around the yard in my thermals feeling every puff of wind while everyone else is doing ten minute muckouts in their t-shirts!

She's coming home tomorrow!!!!! :dance::smile::dance::smile:

I've been over today to hand over the money, and she's being picked up at 9.30am so she should be in my stable by 11.00am tops.

Did I tell you she's called Sham (short for Shamrock, but not overly keen on that).

I'll start a "She's here!!!!" thread tomorrow :dance:

Fab! You got the transport sorted :biggrin:
I was thinking about you last night, fingers were crossed over twice, in the hope you found some one to bring her home :wink:

Congratulations, looking forward to reading all about her arrival. A very special day to have a new horse. All the very best to you both.

Sham's home!

And even more gorgeous than I remembered her :D

She loaded straight away (I wasn't there at her end) and came calmly down the ramp, had a look round and led quietly to her stable. I let her have a look inside before I led her in, and she went straight to her haynet. I offered her a carrot but she didn't seem interested so I stuffed it into the hay for later.

She settled very quickly, which surprised me because she struck me as being quite nervous when I went to see her. She was very vocal though, yelling at everything that moved.

She was caked in mud from ears to tail (I'd asked that she wasn't groomed because I wanted to do it myself) and was fairly OK to brush, but kept going to the back of the stable, so I didn't press her, and her front end gleamed where I'd managed to get the mud off :D Her mane's in a state, very long and tangled, and she's got a couple of wind plaits which I might have to cut out, but luckily I like undoing them.

Sorry, there's no pics because she wouldn't hold still long enough to get anything half decent, but I'll try again tomorrow.

I think Kels would be pleased!
