And probably turn as green as this scenery! This is my new hacking, only next door!

Going out the driveway and looking back at the property including barn, round pen and arena.

Entering the neighbouring property, looking back towards home and the north east.

Yup, jealous. Of the canter paddock more than anything - we have lovely lanes and views but not so much open space.

Oh and also the river, because I love them.

Whereabouts in NZ are you, lucky person?

Lovely pics, thank you for sharing them. I bet you can ride for hours there and not meet anyone!

That looks like paradise. What are your winters like? Do you get a lot of flies in the summer?

Hubby is a New Zealand-style Dairy Farmer - and now his kids are older, could be persuaded to move to NZ.

Ali xx

Winters are pretty mild, but wet and muddy. It gets colder and snowier the further south you go. I come from Canterbury in the South Island. I got through this whole winter here in Auckland with no heater. I may adjust by next winter and start feeling a chill.

Summers are humid and yep, we still get lots of flies, no escaping that wherever you live in the world! I lived in Korea for a year and it's same wherever you go!

How do you mean "NZ style dairy farmer"? What do we do that is different???

Lovely hacking - I am very jealous. Think if we had that, Rusty and I might do better than our narrow rocky trails cut out of the bush.

I refuse to believe anywhere is that lovely - think you live in a city and you've just photoshopped in the scenery....:giggle::giggle::giggle:
