Took her to an Equestrian Centre which has a X-C complex. You start in the arena, jump a couple of solid fences, then leave the arena over a ditch, ride uphill through trees. There is a shallow lake at the top which you ride through, then after the water, down some steps back into the arena, and over a brush fence. Or you can do it in reverse: brush, then up the steps, through the water down through the trees and over the ditch back into the arena and over the solid fences.
Well Cally LOVED it. I have never known her so enthusiastic. We did it both ways in trot and then in canter and she didn't bat an eyelid at any of it. She is so amazing. She makes me feel so safe.
