wow, friend of mine came up to give me a quick lesson yesterday and i was practising today, and wow what a difference! when i stop fiddling with my hands poppy just goes into this fantastic outline (that'll teach me that she's not a pony with a mouth of reinforced concrete!) plus did some fantastic collected trot . . . you know the moment where it just goes click and starts to happen properly instead of being nearly there? and actually listening when i asked fore xtension in the canter instead of just taking it as a signal to charge off. . . and producing her best medium trot and a couple of steps of proper extension.
