What's your grazing looking like?

Took these this morning as this is what they've got to last it's until September.
I pulled the nettles last night and they've been eaten up. Organic dustbins that they both are.

Looking ok. A mass of wildflowers and butterflies currently.
Done my first ragwort session this morning. Been spotting bits for weeks as I walk the fields. But its coming out into flower so easy to spot.
 
Mine was completely burnt off in May,

but since we got rain at the start of June it’s recovered better than I’d hoped,

but there definitely isn’t as much as usual on the rested paddocks.

I’ve been ragworting for weeks, I don’t know if it’s just a year for it or if perhaps the person I had do it for me last year wasn’t as diligent about getting the roots out, but I’ve had more than ever, I’ve pulled probably a dozen barrow loads, I normally do a couple of buckets full.
 
I had hardly any last year. I think the drought stopped it from growing. This year its popping up in places I don't normally see it. Although I think the area I cleared this morning was from seed blown over from 5 years ago. Its taken that long to germinate.
I havent been pulling when I see it as I prefer to dig to get the root. I'm not going round 20 acres each day with a fork in hand on the chance I might find a peice. So im hitting it now its in flower.
 
I haven't had anything in flower this year, I have gone round and dug out the rosettes.
I think the weather will have an impact on what grows.
It's possible that I might find some in flower when I walk round the field.
 
We have tons of grass, we have three summer fields and three winter ones that we rotate and since the YO horse was sadly pts in May there’s only two on it now and Belle is rationed so hopefully we’ll have enough to get us through the winter

If I graze off the rested one it simply won’t regrow, if I can avoid it, it will recover far better as soon as we get rain. We also have a hosepipe ban here now. And we’ll be short on hay locally already, if we start feeding volumes of it now we’ll be out before winter.
 
This is what we are currently like. The rested area does green up. So maybe we are getting morning dew?
It dropped to 15 last night, no idea what temp we get dew.

I think my fields look almost undergrazed. This is stood at the gate going out into the field. I took this 2 days ago. You can see where we drove round the edge of the field when we did the hay. That's completely flat. I put the cows in here to tidy up the track. They choose to lay in the long grass. There's 9 cows there but the grass was so tall I couldn't see them.

This is what the cows went on today. Its brown but has length and there's green in the bottom although the picture doesn't show it. Not all the daily field rotations are like this, some are quite sparse but the cows are content.

What a beautiful field. You have trees - we have none. That's a lovely photo (the first one). The light looks lovely.
