I don't know @carthorse. I wish Chev was still on here to help us out. I think you'd need a genetic test to be sure. It is my favourite colour though.
Exactly. What's in a name anyway?Sadly too late for that now, and calling him a different colour wouldn't have altered the super lad he was.
Haha, I think greys are the most disappointing - you start with a gorgeous dappled rocking horse look alike and end up with something that's usually a mucky brown with smelly green patchesI have just accepted that any horse I have, will not be the colour it was when I bought it. One looks as though I bleached him, the other looks as though I dyed him black.View attachment 108114View attachment 108115
Oh yes this. Ziggy was a rocking horse when I bought him and I was so green I thought he was going to stay that way!Haha, I think greys are the most disappointing - you start with a gorgeous dappled rocking horse look alike and end up with something that's usually a mucky brown with smelly green patches
Well, I know that's what the head says, but whenever I see a grey my heart says, "Oh yes, look, look at the dapples, look at the lovely black legs and the black tips to the ears, you need this horse."My first was a grey, never again!
That sounds interesting. TBs often have very flat, "daisy cutter" paces, most economical for speed. Want to post us a little video of her canter? It sounds curious.the absolute weirded canter. It feel like a trot to ride
