turnout or box rest?

It would have to be a very serious injury or illness to keep one of mine in. Even if restricted movement was recommended by my vet, I would do so in a small corral next to their usual field mates.

Out every time. I cant imagine why in is helpful mentally or physically for horses.

Out out and out. I have seen many many more successful results from turnout than I have boxrest. I am lucky I have a vet who knows and supports my feelings in this but as an owner it's something I would refuse and if it meant jeopardizing an insurance claim then so be it.
