Yes I'm saddle browsing again!

If there any easy way of telling the difference by eye?

Do all cob saddles have 4 for thing points and the standard doesn't?

I'm looking for pointers that are easy to see without seeing the standard against the Cob version side by side.

Thanks x

The only real, obvious difference is that the seat on the cob saddles have a square cantle but the standard ones have a round cantle. I think the panels are a slightly different shape too to give more room for the shoulders (which is why the bars you use to change the width of the saddle are different - cob ones are shorter). I have a standard GP on my cob - I would probably be better off with the cob version but I just bought what was on ebay:giggle: Mine does have the 4th girth point, I have my girth on it just now! You can change the girth settings about.

ETA Also I'm pretty sure the cob version has a full pommel but the standard ones are slightly cut back. They also have a hi-wither version which I'm sure is the same as the standard but the panels dip down a bit more if that makes sense?
