We moved Molly yesterday to her new yard, where she settled right into her stable, and has been fine overnight. She has been let out this morning into a small field by herself so she can start to say hello to the other horses. She seems totally happy and normal, excep that her udder is very swollen. Its normally quite soft, and flat, but this morning, it was all swollen so that her teats had almost disappeared. It wasn't painful at all.
What could this be? Change of environment?, coincidence?, about to come into season (never noticed this before)?
Seems very strange!
Thanks all!
