Thanks for all the new posts, and especially the list of sites to advertise her on, that is really helpful. I have decided to rehome her as a hack/companion anyway. YES she was vetted when we purchased her with no problems, it was mentioned that she had short heels but so do lots of horses and it was made worst by the fact that she had really long feet when we got her.
She had not shown any signs of lameness until this and my current vet said that it would not have not been detected unless she had xrays on the vetting.
Interesting about all your comments with regards of her conformation and all the lines!!. Think that she was standing on a slope at the time so not sure if that makes any difference but never mind she is still gorgeous to me!
She has gone sound already and she has a canter around the field!. (dont tell the vet!) She seems to be doing fine in her current natural balance shoes so will not want to change anything at the moment but early days so will seek advise if she is not coping.
