RDA Championships

Hi all

I have qualified for the RDA championships in Hartpury next month. I'm really pleased about this but - having been there last year I know that I would get less tired if I had use of a scooter for getting from room to stables and back. It's not a long walk but when done several times a day - it mounts up and I was really tired after the competition last year.

Does anyone know where I could hire a scooter from that would not break my very limited bank? Maybe someone close by could lend me one - I'll be in Hartpury from 8th July to 17th July as I may be competing in the Festival of Dressge that starts after the RDA comp. Won't know about that for definite until middle of June.

Hi, congratulations on qualifying!!

If you get in touch with Shop mobility they should be able to help you out with electric scooters... they are a charity designed on helping all sorts of disabled people, from going shopping to hiring out scooters at events.... They'd be my first port of call!
