Good evening everyone,

I hope you are enjoying the summer now we are actually having one! So i just thought i would post a quick update since moving yards nearly 4 weeks ago.

Well Honey was settled the day after, she was happy she has a nice big field with lots of grass to eat and is surrounded by boys!lol!

So i have finally got her stable the way i want it, just need to buy 2 more mats which will probably be purchased next month and i am so pleased because the stable is big! Bigger than a normal 12 x 12, so suits her much better. Plus i have plenty of storage outside my stable for all of our stuff, and we have lots! :redcarded:

So i have had one lesson with a new instructor who i prefer as she works on both of us and have another one booked for Saturday. Just going to have 1 a month due to funds and spend a few weeks working on what we have been taught to improve on it.

We have done some more jumping as well. I haven't met everyone, but the people i have met are lovely. They have a local riding club and have club nights every 2 weeks, i didn't get to the one last night as i had a migraine, but i will be going to the next one as they are in hacking distance and I have 2 shows planned (within hacking distance as i don't have transport :-(#

The other woman who caused problems for me at a previous yard i hardly ever see and when i do i am just civil, it is a bigger yard so easier to avoid her!

Honey has put on a bit of weight, she needed to but not loads which is good. And her jumping is coming on, i really feel like we are a team and have a great bond. I started a new job on Monday #well was promoted# so i mainly work from home and will be out a few times a week, so plan to ride in the morning. Tomorrow i have set the alarm for 6 am to get up and go for a quick hack.

Anyway, so the point of this is that i am glad we moved and feel like i am getting further with her, especially jumping. I have attached some photos for opinions #ignore my position, i am working on it) The first one is when i first got her just over a year ago, then the second is from about March/April time and the 3rd is from last week and of course the jumping photos are from last week too.

I don't actually know what it is, all i know is it is plastic. Took some persuasion to jump it, but after that she was fab and i barley had any brakes!lol! the menage is much bigger and more jumps, so we can do a lot more. My friend came down and built a course for us and saw her when i first got her and also commented on how well we have both improved!:bounce:
