My yellow goes back to 1959 - hopefully it’s acceptable as it’s all I have and believe me, unless I use the mustard jar or those buttercups that keep growing back, this is it

Goldie, my first horse that I saved money for until I was 12. $350 was a lot of money for a farm kid’s horse in 1959 - especially when there were no papers. This was 1960 and the foal was Sonny at 2-3 months. The Sellers had zero idea Goldie was carrying a foal and tried to make my parents pay for him or give him back at weaning. My grandfather straightened them out in a hurry on that issue. Sonny stayed with me his entire 29 years. I really did used to be skinny, lollol

When I saw the crowds I was thinking to myself the only way to really see anything even if you lived over there was thru some sort of media coverage.
I actually think what I was able to get to see alot of it quite well in this country.
