Its amazing. I feel like I've dreamt it all so far! Was taken out today on a carriage drive. FANTASTIC and allowed to hold the reins. Omg. I am sure I will wake up soon and it will all have been a dream. Never had such a good time for a long time. Feel very happy and very lucky. Its like the world looks different all of a sudden. I know it probably sounds silly but it feels so right already and everyone so far has made us feel so welcome.

I'm really looking forward to hearing all about your adventures. I want to live through your updates lol. All the best for your new life x

What an amazing feeling to wake up everyday and feel like you are still dreaming. When I lived in the countryside in a lovely little cottage years ago I used to feel like that too, every single day, it doesn't sound silly at all that it feels so right, you've worked hard to get there and it's very well deserved I rekon. Met some more of our neighbours today, everyone seems to have horses! Lol and are so friendly. My Stormy has fallen in love with two shetties over the fence! Hhahaaaa. And in the distance she can see some other lovely horses. We met their owner today. I reckon it's given the girls a new lease of life, I've never seen them so happy and alert!

All our furniture is coming tomorrow, it's weird cos I feel like I am on holiday and can hardly believe I won't be "going home"
On the downside mil is furious. My sister in law sent me a nasty email - apparently she is disgusted that we have moved here and that their mother is heartbroken Poor Mr T is upset and it's so mean of them but I am not going to let it spoil things.

Yep they will have to get over it. My own parents have been very supportive and are loving hearing all about it (even if my poor dad forgets it immediately!)

She is a very manipulative woman - both sister and mother alike. To say they have bullied me over the years and tried to bully OH would be an understatement. They are used to geting all their own way and for the first time we have stood up to them and done our own thing. Think they are shocked! OH sent her an email laying out his feelings but she has ignored it. Well, it's her loss. I only want happy visitors!

I can see why you love driving. It's an amazing feeling! I was rubbish but tried hard!lol it was so dam exciting and felt so fast - lol it was walk and trot but those ponies are super and know their job so I didn't make too much of a hash! It was the best afternoon I have had for years. I was still grinning last night!

I think mil will - her daughter lives in canada (which is where mil is atm). I don't think the daughter will visit, tbh I hope not, she is really not on my list of favourite people.

I think it is great you have escaped her. She made your live miserable and no-one deserves that. I am glad your neighbours seem nice and you have entered a new horse community. You will love your life there.

Lol yeah that's exactly how she thinks! She has been burying her head for months because we've kept trying to tell her we are actually moving but she just sort of changed the subject. And now it's finally happened she's furious! The daughter is utterly selfish and has spent the last ten years since she's lived in Canada giving ME orders on how to entertain HER mother and what I should be doing for her. Well tough titty cos she's not ordering me about now I've moved here, cos I simply can't and won't do any of it!
