I have been waiting about 6yrs for this.....an official riding lesson
it is absoulutly fantastic, i was ridin a 14.2 called Winnie i was gonna be put on a 16.1hh called Moss but i told her i was nervous of bigger horses so she put me on the pony.
I had about 20-30mins on the lead rope then i had to control her myself. she stopped half way to have a snack (theres leaves cumin through the walls). This was the first time that i have ever ridden a horse without hesitating to get off and i loved it. my next lesson is 4th july.
The main problem was that when i got on her girth was too loose so i had to try and move so that Rachael could tighten it. When i got off (without hesitating
the saddle came with me, still a little loose, it still made us both laugh)
The one thing that is worrying - they say that they can get me cantering after 10 weeks
