I had a quick pootle today before heading into town. Fuzzy was super as ever. She does make me laugh, she can hardly wait to get her tack off, she's quite impatient for her reward (ginger biscuit).
Off for a little pootle shortly thank goodness. She keeps me sane. My day started off badly, found a leaking tube of shampoo in the bathroom which had ruined my lovely William Morris cardboard tray. Following on from that it was carnage in the garage because mrs mack and Husky had plopped and made a mess instead of using the litter trays. Once outside next doors pesky chickens were once again on my yard. Okay, I have nothing against chickens but I don't want any! They sh*t on my horses food and in their beds and end of the day if I wanted some I'd have ruddy well got some! Oh and the internet isn't working (using my phone connection at the mo) and been fobbed off again by the company that provides it to us. They are sending a person in the morning with a new router. Why they couldn't admit that was the problem two days ago is beyond me. OKay going to breathe now.....................I know...world problems and all that..........
Edited to add; thank god for horses! Fuzzy was a star - even when (could things be going badly today or what?!) I hadn't done her girth up enough and me and the saddle ended up underneath her with one leg somehow touching the mounting block almost hanging on by the other. Got off, re-positioned her at the block, did girth up a bit more then hopped on. She has a special look she reserves for me when I'm idiotic. Today I got "the look" whilst fuffling about getting on. In fact, not just thank god for horses but thank god for small steady cobs. Storm would have pinged off round the field with me half on and half off!!! Not Fuz - nice and steady.
