I'm really interested in Natural Horse Remedies when I started reading the "Heartland" teen books (Great series by the way for girls around 14). Anyone know about them and where you can get them?

I've actually seen oils being sold at the local dollar mart! But I wouldn't use those on your horses!
Essentail oils, undiluted (the ones you canget in a tiny bottle) is probably wayy too strong. Maybe dilute those in oil?
They're actually pretty common and you can find them in many places. Look around
I'm a huge fan of heartland. I had this lavendar body spray once...so I sprayed it on my hand when i was at the barn, and let my mare sniff it...she hated it, tossed and turned her head away. And when I tried to get her to sniff it again...no way, she moved away lol. (maybe it was too strong for her...)
edited to add....i own all heartland books, began reading them when i was like 11, now wayyy older there a little kid-ish for me now, but still love em!

I started when I was 10 or so. I think I bought my last one in late 03'.
