Wild swimming.
I actually swam for the first time in over 20 years. I didn't sink but I appeared to favour breast stroke, front crawl is bloody hardwork
It was brilliant even with slight cramp!!
Salt water doesn't taste as salty these days, or you grow up ha ha
I have just joined the local swimming group who post if they are meeting up for a dip.
Now here's the thing.
I am struggling to motivate myself with the cob and I might actually "turn her away" for a month as I simply can't kick myself into even leading her out in the morning.
I have adjusted my routine to enable it and the yard rides out daily if I wanted company.
Today I have two choices, my original take her out to watch the sunset later on, or join the swimming group which is dependant on the tide and sun sets daily. I can't do both. I should have taken her out this morning
A few funny things happened. I was sitting happily on a rock watching people and the tide gradually floated me off.
When it came to getting out I couldn't actually jump up the slipway, so had to swing one leg up and use that for leverage. Riding horses is useful. I have since discovered people use the walkway. Noted.
