Moving away (too far to ride at my usual place)

@Skib it's asked for as it demonstrates a secure seat rather than a rider who relies on bracing against stirrups, the same reason riders are taught without stirrups, a decent school would only ask to see it if they were confident the rider would be safe though and on a reliable horse (Jim not being the most reliable was the reason I was so out of practice doing it).

As I said before an assessment lesson is nothing to worry about, it's not something you pass or fail and it's merely a starting point for the school. I get that it feels daunting riding for a different teacher - been there, done that, got the Tshirt - but it's worth it if it means you can keep riding.
