Following on from Flipo's thread about the herd I thought I would share. The cob lives with 12 and as you can see its very crowded.

ours are in 40 acres in a 25-odd herd (but a lot less grass!!)

That's why someone's waist line expanded, that said its on the edge of a cliff, its a degree or two colder than the main yard.
