Heaher, do you run shorter courses than the seminar? One or two days? I think your teaching sounds wonderful, but I can't really be away for a whole week at the moment.

HI Linda,
I do run two day courses, but they are fully booked for this year, and with a waiting list for next. I will be running some shorter two day seminars next year which may be of interest to you. I still have to sort out dates for next year yet, as I also will be teaching in the US.
I am hoping also to set up and Enlightened Equitation Teaching Foundation next year, so that I can train other teachers in this way.We badly need more teachers in different areas of the country, so this is a priority.

Hi Heather, if & when you get your EETF off the ground, keep me informed. I've just started filling in at a BHS riding school, although one of the better schools locally from the point of view of horse care, the standard of riding is woeful! as you very well know. We are awaiting delivery of a HM/Thoroughgood, ordered over a month ago, looking forward to that. Take Care.

HI everyone,
Naturally, I will inform you all of any progress with the EET foundation. I have set the wheels in motion last week for an Open College Network accreditation, which will be a recognised National qualification, that is recognised by the Govt.
We plan on having three levels of qualification, and also three levels of examinations for riders who want to attain certificates, much as music students etc.go through their grades.
The OCN seems quite enthusiastic, and seems to think it will be feasible, so watch this space!
