Quite annoyed about this, a lot of my photographer friends have deleted their accounts. Not sure whether I should delete mine now or wait to see if they back down...

I don't use instagram but a few of my friends do. They had no idea about this when i shared it on facebook and have subsequently deleted their accounts. Thanks for sharing

I don;t actually know what instagram is but I do not like the idea of anyones photos being used by anyone other than the original artist, or by the artists concent. I am 100% behind our british copy right laws and think this should apply on the internet as well as everywhere else.

Glad I don't have an instagram account after reading this. Whatever the subsequent denials it certainly sounds fishy to me.

TBH most of what I've seen of Instagram is basically people using special pwetty colours to dress up mediocre and often out-of-focus photos. There are other ways to get your photography on display!
