I think actually it will give the antibiotics a better chance to fully work too.
Yes he's booked in for Monday so I hope the weather plays ball. He's doing really well in himself, chirpy and happy enough and his eye problem has cleared up, so maybe a combo of the antibiotics and the steroid eye drops. I am worried for him though as there is a risk with anaesthetic isn't there and he's an old boy. Vet won't / can't guarantee anything when pressed, mr trews asked if he would be okay and she couldn't commit - and quite rightly as they don't have a crystal ball. But she said his heart sounded fine. How your poorly one doing. Have the antibiotics helped. Have you rebooked op?
I've been cat sitting this week for someone and it's been very challenging as there little one has been ill for a while and has been wasting away. Vet visits have not really been able to determine the issue so they've decided to let nature take its course as its less stressful for the cat. Unfortunately it's not really eating now so I've been offering what I can to keep it going but I think it's at the end of the road.
