What type of Finch is it? Apart lucky what should I call it? Do you think the owners are looking for it? Unlikely I would think, but I would like to give it back if I knew where to start.

So meet the new finch.

Its a white Zebra Finch, a mutation of ordinary an Zebra finch. Girls have orange beaks, males have red ones.

I asked my cousin, he owns a pet shop, He was confident this is what you have. :ninja:

She is now called Rose, eta though I think she is really a he.
Happy to keep her, left number at few pet shops just in case the owner goes looking.

if birds had nine lives, several have gone now.....my cats do take the odd bird, sadly, I balance it by saying that the amount of wild bird feeders we have outside compensates by helping more of them in hard times.

Update-sadly Rose died this morning. Must have been delayed shock.

Oh that is a shame, at least she was safe when she went. Being outside must have been shock for a captive bred bird, let alone a run in with the cat on top. Poor little Rosie.
