He’s broken 😒. “Luckily” he was still hobbling when vet arrived. He thinks hock. We hope stifle/hip. Hock means retirement. He is going to a different practise to get joint blocks. Could only pin point to upper limb. He is very sore tonight with all the pricing and flexions etc so he will stay in tonight and hopefully speak to vet tomorrow and get him down there asap.

The weird thing is he was 100% sound in walk in the field. I’m really hoping it’s an acute injury rather than a progression of the arthritis as it is not presenting as his arthritic hocks.

Yep I appreciate that. Was more meaning he was fine coming in. He was fine ridden in walk. He then was not fine in trot ridden. And now he is lame in walk again.

Vibes coming your way, and a (((hug))) and I'll keep everything crossed too! Hopefully its a simple tweak unrelated to the previous issues 🤞

I was gonna ask how he was. I was thinking about him this morning. Didnt have time to post. Doesnt sound good. Sorry to hear this.

He has had them. Currently hoping to make him comfortable in the field. Which he is just now but on a lot of painkillers so next step is to see if we can reduce to an acceptable level without giving him ulcers.

I didn’t say anything about it. I don’t want to think about it. I don’t want to tempt fate wtc

Fair enough, well we are all here for moral support, and will keep up those daily doses of vibes and hugs until you tell us to do something different. I'll be thinking of you both!
