Blimey it almost makes you wonder how such a tiny pill can do anything for a big horse. Amazing really.

I always think that about bute. The small amount you need

I suppose a sachet of bute, if you stuck it together is only the same size really. Just somehow in a powder form it feels different to a Smatie.

Mine have always been happy to gobble up a feed with Danilon in. Traditional bute no. Every now and again Fuz can detect her Pergolide tablet. But its rare.
It is amazing how small medicine is. Like with us humans. I mean, really for some conditions that treat certain disorders when you look at the tiny tablet. Having said that mr trews has to take some that are like ruddy torpedos! I don't know how he gets those down.

Robin had equioxx instead of danilon due to his ulcers. Unfortunately although very easy to give him, it did absolutely nothing.

The vet did say actually that it's had mixed results and some people have had no improvement. It might just be because I want to see a change but I can see a difference in mine. The puffiness over the ligaments went overnight, his legs seem a little looser. Will see how we go

His blood tests for EMS and Cushing's both came back as completely normal which is great news now he's in his early/mid 20s
