Worth it in this heat! I took Hogan out last weekend at 7.30 am - it was lovely! Doing the same on Sunday if it stays hot.

I used to get up at 4.30am when Ben was fit. I rode between 5am and 6am and was then back home to get my family up by 6.30am. I loved those early morning rides, hopefully will do this again next summer.

In the autumn I get up at 6 and ride so I'm back by 8 o'clock to go to work. It's really nice riding at that time of the day.

I'm another who is up with the lark, love, love early morning rides, especially in the summer, less flies and traffic and more wildlife to see.
Enjoy your lesson @RayRay

I used to like being up early but working until nine some nights (most nights) isn't really conducive. Glad it was worth it @RayRay
Anything before eight is sparrow fart for me! lol

Thanks for the encouragement, I'd got out of early morning rides this last month with one thing and another. Your post inspired me to get up and ride at 7 this morning.

Glad you had a good time :) 5.00am is my normal time to get up to - for either pre work riding and yard chores, running or gym session.

I must admit, it's easier in the summer than the winter :D

couldn't ride before work even if i wanted to because the time the riding school i open from and buses
