first day helping at the RDA

Says it all in the title

It was really good, got showed around and got to groom one of the horses, she was lovely - shes called tara and she just stood there falling asleep while i groomed her and tacked and untacked her. also picked her feet out - which i've never done before so that was good to learn. got my second induction on tues morning so i'll be watching a lesson then learning to lead a horse in the lesson/side-walk. Yey i'm looking forward to it

Sounds like you are having a great time hun congrats!
I know what you mean, I picked my first feet out 2 weeks ago and said 'I 've always wanted to do this', I think the owner thought I was a bit mad hehe!

i know people who have to pick feet out don't think anything of it but i was so excited to finally do it!... at least someone else is just like me
