experiences with loaning - in need of cheering up!

I have just put my lovely sec d geliding out on loan for 12 months!! he has gone a considerable distance to a woman i don't know. people think i am mad but when she came to try him, I was happy that she could `handle' him and she seemed like a caring, knowledgeable girl so the agreement was made and she picked him up on friday. I too think it is sad that we are so sceptical and untrusting these days. I hope she proves me right and he comes home happy and well in 12 months time..............i will keep you all posted!

The lady I share with, C, loans Doey off another lady.

We are lucky in that we are left alone to get on with it 99% of the time. The owner pops up a few times a year to check her pony is still alive and behaving itself! But trusts C and me to take care of her as she knows we treat her just as our own.

C got a phone call from the owner last night, she started with 'C I have some bad news...' C immediately thought 'oh my God no, she wants her back, no please no'

Thankfully it was just to say her insurance has gone up! PHEW!!!
