Hi,
I’m looking for local horsey people to hopefully make contact/friends with... I have ridden previously and I am desperate to get back into it.

unfortunately I don’t know many horsey people in the area, I am hoping to build some connections as I hope to own my own horse next year after a few more riding school lessons!

I have tried looking for local groups but the ones I’ve found are all selling pages... if you are local please hit me up ?

even if you are not local maybe it you have any ideas on what I could be doing to get the Ball rolling !?

I follow all the groups on Facebook for the area , but they are all selling tack/looking for stables ... ?

Its worth putting a wanted ad on there you never know. Someone might be looking for some help if they have two horses to exercise.
I scan some of my local fb pages. Im still looking for an extra rider for mine, but i dont like posting wanted ads so people know my business, so i browse in the hope that someone will post a suitable ad. I will then contact them if i think they might be suitable.

it’s so hard, finding a foot in the door especially during covid!.. There is so many stables around me too.

Then walk the walk and go round each stable (once lockdown in your area has been stopped) and ask politely if you can put up a Wanted advert for friends/offer of help, etc.
