Hi, I would really love to do endurance riding but it will be in the future as my horse is only just being backed. What I would like to know though is where do riders get the special kit from i.e. I like the wider strirrups and want to know if you can just fit them on ordinary stirrup leathers. I don't see them in Robinsons or Derby House. Is there a website especially for endurance stuff?

www.performanceequestrian.co.uk :D

Really good shop, I have the soft tread stirrups and the flex ride stirrups, soft rides are the best.

All of my tack is synthetic, mostly zilco, some plas equestrian, have a couple of things made by marylot.
I have/had some libbys webbing tack, but doesn't suit me so I am selling it.

I get my saddle bags from there also, ebay is also a good place to look.:)

I get my zilco bridles from Mounwalker on EBay and Plas Equestrian
Riding tights from Three Lows, Raddery Equine. Performance Equestrian
Cages from Raddery of Performance
Saddles are Pathfinder by Keith Bryan and Specialized Saddles which is an endurancxe/western trailmaster.

Hi im a new bod on here so not really sore what im doing.
I get my Endurance tack from either Plas Equestrian or Preformance Equestrian for my bridles (i tend to use Zilco) reins. My riding tights chaps heart rate monitor hoof boot drink holder map case flexi wide stirups are from Prefomance Equestrian my saddle is a Free and Easy Endurance saddle.

30 years ago, we rode in tweed hacking jackets and full length boots, leather saddles and hunting bridles :D :D

The times were just as respectable :D :D ;)

Less is more with endurance. do away with bits and as much guff as you canl. Boots just rub, as to martingales and breast plates.

Don't like synthetic as it does not absorb sweat. Cotton webbing was the best I came across for bridles. Light leather saddles and real sheepskin under saddles.

But nowadays I hear you have all manner of daft rules.
