To all you dressage experts out there, if you wre choosing music to 'dance' 'demonstrate' to for your test or demonstration what would it be?

Also are there rules on the genre of music that you can use? I would love to find something that really gives a horse a chance to show itself in the true form of the beauty of a horse.

Thanks! :)

Try and pic is for the beat rather than the song. A 3 beat for the canter, choppy for the trot etc. Andreas Helgstrands win last year shows the music choice at it's best. Having a good beat makes it so much easier... What about lady marmalade or something by the black eyed peas?

Agree with the above its the beat of the music that is important. Horses all suit different types of music, some suit very classic heavy things, others lighter more 'fairy' things, some even dancy type music. It also helps if you like the music you are going to ride to yourself!

If you go onto YouTube and search Dressage to Music there will be thousands of vids for you to watch and get inspiration. Edward Gal and Moorlands Totalis (sp) would be well worth a watch also!!
