Anybody got one? I fancy getting one for Mr Joe as he hates conventional brushes and really does not like being groomed. I thought he might like it, as it looks interesting and I think it kind of massages as well? Couldn't see one at Derby House the other week tho. Just wondered if anybody had bought one?

Hehehehe, I have plenty of microfibre cloths, maybe I should just try one of those then?! I liked the Doodle, it was a bonny colour (hehehe, pink edging, just so right for Mr Joe!)

i have seen those exact pink cloths in wilkinsons for like 60p, i bet the brush is ten times that.

i am sure they do a similar one for washing cars too.

Its all very Blue Peter, but I may just try and make my own!!! I know OH has a stack of microfibre cloths hidden somewhere under the kitchen sink (he is a serial ceramic hob cleaner you know!!!). I remember once Your Horse was giving away those grooming mits, I had one but can't seem to find it, it was the same sort of idea.

i just looked and on ebay the mitts without asponge but a spongy microfibre are about 2 -3 pound, if a pound shop stocked them or a supermarket had them on offer you could get them really cheap.

wilkinson may be worth a look.

you could also try lambskin/wool etc mitts.

but they can be expensive but have seen some for around 5 pound.

I bet Mr Joe would like the lambskin ones - he has a lambskin numnah and OH swears its the only one he really seems to be comfy in (like he's told him so lol!!!).

We only use plastic curry combs and metal shredders LOL. Cant even entertain something tickly... I have a whole kit of brand new matching colour brushes and smart box.... its turned into hoof pick, shredder, curry comb and surplus creams and shampoos box LOL

They were advertised in Horse and Rider mag - they look quite soft and I thought they'd appeal to fussy pants Joe - whom normal brushes are simply not good enough!

Oh please! Why am I so pants at anything technical (trying to post a link). Sorry domane, you will just have to use your imagination!!lol.

on the note of 'non ticklish' brush..I found a goats hair finishing brush is excellent for Harvey...he doesn't complain about that one making him itch :-)

Can't help with the doodle dandy though

lacyfreckle - I've got a goat hair one for Joe too, but he doesn't really rate it!!! (Well, he doesn't seem any less grumpy when being groomed!)
