Well Daisy moved 3 weeks ago so that I can stable her as she was getting so heavy, she gets grazing for about 5 hours a day and then its back to her stable for limited hay and chaff and vits.
I was so excited yesterday to weigh her for her third week only to find she had put weight on :furious: couldnt beleive it :furious: felt so flat as it is a lot of extra work and am already too busy for my own good.
Any way went back in the afternoon and measured her again and tried to pull the weight tape tighter but no way - she had put on.
But this morning as I was driving over I thought supposing she is a bit hormonal at the moment, I know we put on at certain times of the month, so out came the weight tape and YAY she had lost :dance: in total now about 26 KG :dance::dance::dance:
Only trouble is she is being 'evicted' from stables end Feb and will have to go back to 24/7 grazing just as the grass kicks in :frown:
