Brave Pants!

Most of you know that I have a jumping phobia from my teens - not helped by a couple of falls through jumping in recent years. So I have pretty big demons that I desperately want to conquer. So last night I asked Jill to put her RI hat on and give us a jump lesson. And this is what we progressed to....

It's not pretty but it was G was a little superstar - which really boosted my confidence.

Afterwards Jill rode Albi around the school bareback, cantering and jumping! She nagged me to get on.... but we only managed a short trot!!

Brilliant! Personally think you look fantastic, and I'm very jealous of your lovely lines into the jumps, I always turn too late or early!

Actually I am mortified because I've just realised that her saddle is halfway up her neck!!! I think I was in such a blind panic before our lesson that I wasn't concentrating

I'm seriously impressed and also a little jealous. I would love to jump but nerves get in the way and I cannot get the hang of folding.
