Best calming supplements

Which calming supplements would you recommend?

We are using Dodson horrell placid to no affect really.

It’s to help a young stressy anxious gelding.

I've found it really effective for box rest, and friends I've recommended it to have found the same. I was told about it by a friend who had used it successfully as a last ditch attempt to get a horse to box rest safely rather than send it to a rehab yard.

Is the sedalin not helping?

It didn’t

But also looking for something for when box rest is over too as he can be very stressy.

What dose did you give, how did you give it and how long did you give it to act? It's highly unlikely a calming supplement will do anything if Sedalin didn't work. Speak to your vet again if you're sure you gave enough and gave it long enough to act, it may be that Domosedan would be a better bet.
