I have at last found a lovely share horse after a long break, I will post another thread about that.
She will be a new addition, a friend is taking her on, and she doesn't come with tack.
I looked at Kincade bridles in a tack shop a couple of years ago, and thought they were very nice, the leather is not that awful cardboard stuff. The older bridles they made weren't very nice leather, but the ones they started making a few years ago are much nicer. I was thinking of the one with the padded headpiece, it has a wider noseband, which I prefer.
Has anyone bought one of their bridles? I wondered how well they last. I'm quite good about cleaning and using leather conditioner, I enjoy looking after tack.
There are.a few good reviews on Ride away, but one said they come up a bit small. I'd say her head is an average sized full size, but wonder if she might need warmblood size. Could buy both to try on, but the tack shop is a half hour drive away, so don't really to have to make two trips and waste petrol.
Thanks.
