Anyone else have winter bored pony???

Scarlet is bored....she isn't getting enough from the new hay she is on so having to get different stuff.

I missed it but yesterday when being brought back in before YO could clip lead rope on S barged out the gate and took off into another field and ran about bucking like a nutcase for 20 mins before YO could catch her :redcarded: she never does this and is normally good comng in.

Should have seen the state of her, mud up to her arm pits! When I got to the yard she was cuddly, grooming and licking me constantly....not her normal aloof self at all.

Several of the other horses have developed different personalities over the last week or so too...can not wait till spring!!!!!

Anyone elses equine friends going a bit nuts atm????

But slightly more nutty than usual! Think it's cos they have been started on sugarbeet as they are loosing weight ...

Hehe piggywig is like a shaken can of pop... And silver is grouchy as she is poorly

Joy's good when she's out of work but she's more aloof.

I really notice the difference when she's back in work as she's more clingey and alert with more spark to her.

I quite like cuddly Scarlet...but I know it means she isn't at her happiest :frown:
