I did wonder if that’s why, tbh I don’t care particularly, but like to know what I’m getting.A lot of people rebadged ideals and sold them as their own brand back in the day Ive been told!
I love the older style ones on my chunky horse with a huge shoulder. I have an ideal event (MW) for his jump saddle and a suzannah (W) for his dressage.
Only just seen this. It’s the newer gullet version. I love the HM seat and Monkey likes serge so I’m hopeful, but a bit wary about weight on it, I’m at the top end of what HM suggests.
I didn’t even sit in it, it looked ok until I girthed it up then it shifted right forward, he really needs a point strap (which the flexee doesn’t have). I have got a skito pad for the Freeform and a pro choice air ride, but the girthing just means it’s not worth messing with.Only just seen this.
Have you tried it on. Usually with the rider nearer the top end of the right limit I suggest going for the pads designed to cater for that such as the Barefoot Physio.
However as it's an HM they may well do their own pads.
I think you can still get fitters for these saddles as someone took the business over when Heather retired. Though I could be mixing that up with the Paddles that are out there.
No if it's totally off initially it's not worth adjusting.I didn’t even sit in it, it looked ok until I girthed it up then it shifted right forward, he really needs a point strap (which the flexee doesn’t have).
