Today I was half way through humanely ending a rats life on the end of a shovel and MIL rings. OH leaves me to deal with socks that I have dropped off the washing line and rat feck etc. She is now obsessing about her grand sons birthday card. Apparently we are to drop everything (including the dead rat) and hot foot it over to her house with birthday cards because her daughters in laws are visiting Canada very soon and must take cards / presents etc because she says so. Okay so the fact that I refuse to waste postage / time / rain forests sending cards when I can send an e card obviously does not count. Plus I can't stand her pesky, bat faced daughter. There. I have said it. Okay rant over. Sorry. Again.
