Albs did indeed get "cut" this morning and it went very well. Because the vet had only come out yesterday to give his first vaccination and checked that things had "dropped", today he labelled Albi as "feisty" so gave him a good dose of sedative. Cue little man nearly keeling over on several occasions. Having seen Ludo's procedure, I was far better prepared this time and wasn't moved at all by the proceedings. Just laughed a lot as he stood with his head over the stable door and bottom lip blowing in the wind! :p

He was back out after two hours, tolerating as much fly repellent as I dared spritz around the general area. I sat in a chair all afternoon, keeping an eye on him and catching some rays (and dozing, if truth be told ) He didn't wander far and kept coming back to the gate for a scritch and a welcome... bless him :)

Ouchie!!! :D Glad it all went well, all definitely for the best long term. He doesn't look too troubled about it all :)
