2026 in photos

I know some of you have the white stuff or the slippery icy stuff so let's have a lookie.
We had a light dusting but it went.


Went for a walk on the beach to clear some cobwebs and get some exercise.
I want to get back into a weekly Saturday somewhere walk. Though not if it's absolutely pouring down as that's usually weeding weather

No white stuff for us, everything is frozen but it’s so dry there’s no ice thankfully.

Yesterday. Today is the same. Its like the fillm Groundhog Day. I wake up and everything is just the same as the day before.

I wish it would rain. Oh dear. Did I really say that?!

Cat on radiator in utility room attempting to stay warm;

Poor old boy. He hates bad weather. He hasn't left the house for days.

Path to their field just now. Note: bird steps and my footsteps. No hoof prints. They cannot and will not be tempted off the yard. I can't say I blame them when there's hay in the cat barn.

Yeah, nice to look at but rubbish to do anything in. This morning the gate latches were frozen and it took me ages to get to them to even feed breakfast. I couldn't feel my hands. LOL I've gone soft since moving here! This wouldn't have bothered me ten years ago!

Took this yesterday. No idea what it is. But it must be in a sheltered spot.
There were also daffodils out in two places

Boo! I had to postpone the saddler

Monkey had got into no-man’s-land (blocked off due to owners old bonfires with loads of metal left behind) and was stuck!

Very thirsty so guessing he’d been there all night.

Oh Monkey! Fuzzy has a habit of venturing places and getting stuck. Hope he’s okay.

mr Zi outside the back door. He was delighted with rolling in the snow once he got his mojo going. He's been snow shy for the past couple of days but today with the sun out, he seems happier.

This is the end of our road into the property. As you can see my parcel box and milk churn are a bit snowed up. I doubt if there will be any mail today though.

This is the first time Storms had paddock time for two days - its been blizzarding and she didn't seem keen for it. Today she had some playtime in her front paddock, ie, rolling and snuffling. But she was glad to come back in. She looks mucky lol compared to the snow!

Actually I think that's a never have I ever comment. I have never ridden in the snow.

I have had one light snow dusting and two days off frozen water buckets.
It's been 4 degrees today apparently.
